If your boiler has stopped working, it is best to report the issue by calling our office on the next working day or by using the online maintenance portal.
1. Make sure you have Gas and Electric
2. Reset your boiler. Sometimes an outage will require you to reset your boiler (see below)
3. Make sure your thermostat is working (check batteries if applicable)

Boiler Resets – It is possible that a power cut or other reset of the boiler would have changed your settings, which can mean that normal timer options and other automated features won’t be saved.
If you have recently had power issues or your boiler was disconnected from your power system, then you might have to set it up again and re-enable any settings that you want to use.
Some Smart boilers might also have to be re-paired with other devices that they were tied to, so make sure to check which devices the boiler is still connected to after a power cut. It is not always easy to tell what has changed without looking at the boiler’s settings yourself.
Resetting your boiler – It’s not too difficult to reset your boiler, but it can take a while to find the required buttons.
Almost all modern boiler models, both electric and gas appliances, have a restart button somewhere on their body, either in the main control panel or placed around the back like a last-ditch safety measure.

You’ll have to get access to the system yourself, so be prepared to open up the cupboard or panel it’s placed behind. Please always check the boilers manual before attempting this to find the reset switch. Almost all boiler manuals are available online.
Different types of boilers may require slightly different methods, however you generally need to do the following:
Press the reset button and hold it down for at least 10 seconds. Wait for approximately 2-3 minutes, as the boiler may be starting up. If the reset has been successful, then the flame will ignite within the boiler.
